God Can Handle It

God Can Handle It

Have you ever had someone in your life who could handle just about anything – your bad hair days, your bad temper days, your angst, your anger, your joys unbounding, your good side and bad side?

Guess where I’m going with this?  Yes.  God can handle IT!

Big IT!

I’ve taken the mundane, minuscule issues to Him and found relief and I’ve taken the big, atomic bomb size problems to Him and found comfort and consolation.

There is no magic bullet here.  It’s just a
matter of release and allow the God of grace to handle whatever is on your mind or in your heart.  Some answers take a few years to come into play, and let me be quick to add that not all the things I take to God are answered the way I would like.  But my point is this – God can handle anything that is on my mind or in my heart.

I’ve had to pray about bad attitudes, bad deals, unfair dealings, rotten avocados bought at the grocery store and a thousand other ‘problems’ on my mind.

But in the really big and serious stuff, God can handle IT.

He can even handle my lousy attitude, my bellowing and screaming AT Him from time to time.  Some things I’ve dealt with just don’t make sense, and I’ve let Him know that.  And He has handled it.  He didn’t cut me off.  He didn’t get mad at me for my attitude, nor even for the resentment in my heart.

He handled it, and every time thus far, God has re-stabilized my heart and mind.  He’s brought to me a sense of peace and reasonableness.  Notice I’m not using the terminology of “He brought me every desire of my heart.”

My point – God can handle anything that is troubling us.

In the last part of Jeremiah 32:17 we read: “There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for You.”

Later in Jeremiah 32:27 we read: “Look, take note, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for me?”

I rest my life in the one who can handle anything that brings me concern.  And you can too.

Thanks be to God.
